update....

Soooo.....I have been getting ready for my trip these past few weeks, and still needed some parts for my car for the trip home. So I did some digging and found a Dodge raider with some pretty good parts still left on the rig. The guy sold it to me for $300. The whole kit and kaboodle!
These are the tires that came with it. They aren't more then a year or so old, and retail they cost $250 INDIVIDUALLY!! So I will swap those out, and the mirrors and probably interior seats and carpet. Then a friend I know owns a salvage place and said he would buy it from me with my parts back on it for about $250 so I'm only out around $50 bucks!! Sweet deal huh?!
This is around 3:30 am at the Mens fishing tournament saturday before last. We all had a great time. Around 42 of us.....10 boats....Quite a load.
I got the first catch of the day at 4:01 am! And my first KING!!! It was around 23 lbs. However, we had to toss it back, because it was a native. Nevertheless, we caught more later we were able to keep. Including myself, :D!
AND FINALLY! About 2 more days of clean up wiring and other things, I will be done with this project, FOREVER!! We ran it up and everything. A few issues, but nothing that takes too long. So YAY!!

Visitors from MICHIGAN!!

My good friends Mike and Ryan Reski and Patrick McLean, came to visit me in Soldotna while they were dropping Patrick off to go work for SEND as a Pilot Instructor. I have known all three from when I first went to SMAT. Patrick was my Instructor and Mike and Ryan were my Bible teachers there as well. We have kept in touch ever since then (2005) and they were driving up and were kind enough to drive down from Anchorage to visit before they flew back home this weekend. It was a Blessing to see them again and catch up.....see the rest of you THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!

Prom...

This is my date Delissa Severson.
This is me waiting to leave...
.......I was nervous....apparently, she was excited...But who wouldn't be right? haha, did you catch my joke?
This is at the dance. The theme was Posiedon's Paradise.....I could only think of Back to the Future and the theme of Under the Sea....But there was no Michael J Fox....
This is at the end of the dance next to the beautifully designed Pearl in a Clam...It was a fun night.

New Car!!....well sorta...

Well here she is!! Her name is Holly....I had a dream that I was naming her and that was the name...no joke. So I decided that was the name she was to have. Though she is 21 years, I believe she is only in her prime!! This picture is vvverrryy misleading. You see, I drove into this "sink hole" at 5 mph with the four-wheel drive disengaged. I didn't think it was that deep. That is why I got stuck. Nevertheless, I have no doubt if these unfortunate mistakes did not take place, I would not have had to be pulled out....This is NOT an excuse.......maybe....

Tux...

I'm going to Prom this saturday with a friend from church, and this is the tux that I will be......doing my dance moves in, :D.

4-Wheelin

We took the 4-wheeler out to give it some air from being stored all winter long........And broke the speedometer casing. The speedometer works, its just the casing is busted. Anyhow, we were just messin in the the mud, :).
Josh trying to find some dirt/mud...

Took a trip up to Anchorage to pick up Nathaniel Kitchens mother-in-law....finally got to fly for a little bit!!
John Turner's sons came along and made the trip interesting, :). Jesse is on the left, Johnny's on the right.....and John Turner is behind Johnny's head...
This is one of my boss's sweet rides......2009 Mustang GT....what else is there to say?....
This big boy I'll be working on for the next week putting a new audio system in. It's a turbine Otter that belongs to Talkeetna Air Taxi....Obviously, there are a taxi to Talkeetna......and the only way to get there is by air.....yea, just thought I should point that out... :D Anywho, I'll post some more interesting stuff later. Ciao fro now.

Youth Group!

Two sundays ago, the youth group I attend conducted the service. I lead worship with the rest of the crew, and did some skits as well. It went well, and we were asked to do it again sometime in the near future.
This is our youth room that we finally got around to painting. Its been chipped up and needed a new coat soon. So we picked some colors and "rolled" with it, :). (you like how I put that?)......I basically just stood around encouraging everyone.......:)
This is my good buddy Josh Turner. He's in Hawaii right now on a missions trip during spring break. As you can see, he takes everything he does very seriously....much like myself, :). I think thats why we get along so well. We share so much in common. hahahaha.

This is me taking on mother nature and its dangers! THAT RIGHT THERE IS ABOUT A 23 INCH VERT!!!!!!!!!!

This is me last week trying out my new snow machine jacket/motorcycle jacket. Gj had it picked up in Anchorage for Vicka. There was a big sale going on so it was 50 bucks....retail was around $300, :). Turns out it was too small. So I bought it from him, :). And this is Gj's newer Artic Cat 800.

Craz Craz!

I wish I had had a better camera then my phone. It was a gorgeous, clear day in Kenai and I had to try and get Redoubt in the background...and I kinda did.
This picture was taken after the New year. It was the long awaited moment for all of us at the hangar to see the Beaver go......YYEESS! We were hoping to finish the last bits of wing wiring by the time summer rolled around. However, we received news that the firewall connector to the engine was not certified by the FAA so now they are saying another 6 months before continued work on the Beav...to bad for the owner.

This was a radio stack I built about 3 weeks ago.....its been on my phone forever. We installed it in a Cessna 210, along with a new panel and a few other features, :).

This was a Church snow machine outing a couple weeks ago in Caribou Hills. The snow machine third from the left is Gj's, the one I road. It was an exceptional day out on the hills, quite a bit of powder and a few of us got stuck a couple times.
